![]() Kodak CX7525 We're back. Chris made it home safely as well. Thanks to everyone for their thoughts and concern. We appreciate it. I hope everyone else is doing okay. Eight hours to get out of town on Wednesday, three and a half to get back yesterday. Absolutely nothing to complain about. We were extremely lucky with only a few strewn limbs. No house damage and our power is on (the homes across the street are without power). The Limestone Inn in Groesbeck was splitting its seams starting Thursday but the staff were more than accomodating. They even took the time to fix our shower head that we hadn't even mentioned to them, they just thought the pressure could be better. I don't think Groesbeck has seen anything like that. The fine folks of that town were working their asses off with all these new 'tourists', hats off to them. And hats off to the cook at Babe's, who nailed the ribeye I had Friday night. --- Susan B. is spearheading toycamera.com's online auction to benefit the Victims of Hurricane Katrina. Included are some toycameras and prints from some of the fine people from toycamera.com up for bidding, with all proceeds going directly to an important cause. Also, the Toycamera.com Handbook is hot off the presses. A fantastic handbook compiled by 32 members of Toycamera.com, click on by and check it out. | |
