![]() bubble noir Houston, TX Ah vintage film with grain the size of soap bubbles. In the last year I've tasked myself with scanning in the family photo archive. An accumulation of polaroids, film and prints going all the way back to the '30's (from what I can tell). The ultimate goal is sharable media that the family can enjoy, but I've learned something from this process. I've delved into the wellspring that spawned my love for photography. This is where it started. Hours poring over the family vernacular, learning my past and kindling the future. For my family, and anyone interested, I've thrown up another blog that will touch on the highlights of all this history. Rest assured I'll digress into nostalgic rambling, but that's something I enjoy and it puts some context to some otherwise odd photos. At the very least you'll get to see some goofy-ass pics of myself and others as we wade through a polyester paradise. | |
