 plans Deer Park, TX The vacant lot next to our childhood home has supported many things over the years. Makeshift football, baseball and soccer fields, two gardens, construction material graveyard, plenty of sweat and allergies and several offers from the neighboring Dairy Queen (with the goal of making a parking lot). Now my brother has broken ground on his new home and it's a treat to see it evolve. I have a feeling no shortage of G.I. Joe and Star Wars action figures will make their way into the foundation, as well as one of the little plastic bionic modules from the arm of the Six Million Dollar Man. | |
