 Hwy 249 Houston, TX Makin' a little road trip tomorrow to the Church of the Immaculate BBQ, otherwise knows as New Zion Missionary Baptist Church Barbeque House. Consistently ranked in the best in Texas, especially by traveling high school football coaches. I'm hopin' and prayin' it's still open. Rumors circulate that it's closed but that has yet to be confirmed. We've already lost Mr. Hamburger, arguably the best burger in TX. I'm sure my innards and overall health score are rejoicing, but my taste buds and carnivorous cravings are playing a dirge to rival Sleep and Earth. And that's a strange thing to hear. | |
