 Tomball, TX World Toy Camera Day and I are getting off on the wrong foot. Last year didn't pan out so well trying to fight the weather. This year...well, this year I'm fighting a losing battle with the Banier. I've gotten most of the Super Glue off of the lens, and what's left makes for a nice reverse vignette. But alas, the lens, she is tenuous and likes to leap from the camera when it suits her. And the slack has attacked my take-up. Lots of post-camera light leaks, the kind that eat latent image for breakfast lunch and dinner. All these quirks are expected, desired, revered. However, after getting to know a particular camera and all her eccentricities, new displays of rebellion are almost like infidelity. Or maybe more like Mother Nature. Just letting me know I'm not really in control of anything. And I have absolutely no segue into a James Coney Island hot dog sign. Except for that. - Lightleaks. Surrender and subscribe. Two words.
