 Tomball, TX Poor guy slogged through the weekend with a nasty cough and chest congestion. He couldn't get too close to the baby and it drove him nuts. Exhausted, sick and a little loopy on cough medicine, he broke my heart when I took him home. There is nothing in this world or any other that brings me to my knees more than seeing my son weep. I'm not talking about crocodile tears in the toy aisle or the skinning of knees. Those things happen and those things pass. I'm talking about just plain sadness. Yes, it will pass too (and usually does at a fantastic rate in kiddos) but it kills me nonetheless. I tried fruitlessly to cheer him up before I left. He was so into the Frankenstein bolts I thought one last photo would help. - You can see him again in the latest Group Show. | |
